Center for the Dementia Patients – Nuremberg

An institution for dementia patients, which should serve as a model for future centers, will be developed on the grounds of a former military compound in southern Nuremberg. In addition to providing long-term and daily care, the center includes staff development and administration areas, including space for the research departments of the Nuremberg hospital as well as a center for early diagnosis.

The design provides a public courtyard in front of the three-part complex.
The six-story administration building clearly defines – even from a distance – the end of the development axis.
