Student residence, Wollentorstraße

The construction of a student residence in the Wöhrd district closes the edge of a city block, completing the urban landscape. Through the de-paving of an asphalt area behind the building, a new green courtyard is created for the entire block. Located across from the cafeteria of the Technical University, the 47-apartment residence is ideally placed within easy walking distance. On the ground floor a bakery shop with indoor and outdoor seating defines the base of the building on the Wollentorstrasse side. Students are offered barrier-free apartments, a spacious common room in the upper floor with a rooftop terrace and attractive green common space outdoors.
