Self Storage, Co-Working and Ateliers

As part of a conversion, a completely new space concept was realised in the former Werner furniture store in Dianastraße Nuremberg. With the creation of storage areas, modular rental spaces from 1.5m² will be offered. A partial area on the ground floor and 1st floor was converted into attractive co-working space. On the 2nd and 3rd floors, space is also reserved for artists who can operate their studios here.

The aim of the concept is to reduce the grey energy required to construct the building by preserving the existing building fabric and making conscious use of resources. The design provided for a photovoltaic system covering the entire roof area, intended to help meet the building's electricity demand and reduce the amount of power drawn from the grid.
